Canberra Network
Are you ready to connect and re-connect?
Introducing the new Convenors for the Canberra Network:
Damien Montesin is keen to re-engage the Canberra Network and its members. He sees it as an important way for members to connect as well as for professional development. It is a great opportunity to support each other through professional thinking and practices. Damien’s experience has included being Chair of the Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group, supporting pre-service teachers in their professional development during school placements, Student Senator of ACU and Chair of ACUNSA.
Sophia Williams is keen to build on her experience and networking from her recent Study Group visit to Reggio Emilia. As a principal of a local school, Sophia has extensive experience in facilitating groups. She also brings with her over 20 years of experience working with the ideas of Reggio Emilia.
The new Canberra Network Convenors are very excited to invite members to join their upcoming network meeting, on 15 November 2023.
The Canberra REAIE Network provides an opportunity for educators and leaders in the ACT and surrounds to:
– engage in dialogue as a way to learning.
– increase appreciation and understanding of the Reggio Approach.
– reflect on practice and increase professional capacity.
– consider, share and celebrate diverse perspectives, discourses and pedagogies.
At our upcoming meeting there will be an opportunity to reconnect, tour the space, refine our purpose as a professional network and consider opportunities to support our Canberra Network members in 2024.
