The Challenge journal supports the vision and mission of REAIE. The main purpose of the journal is to encourage and facilitate dialogue, debate and reflection, particularly amongst educational practitioners.
Writers are encouraged to tell the story of their experience and to reflect on the issues, questions and uncertainties that emerge from encounters, both with and for children. Writers are also encouraged to consider the inclusion of the many languages of children and adults (e.g. graphics, drawing and photographs) when making their submissions.
The Challenge is published three times a year in April, August and November.
REAIE aims to publish articles that are easy to read, jargon-free and inclusive of all children, parents, professionals and relevant services. We encourage contributions of all lengths and types.
