Professional Learning Landscapes for Early Learning

New possibilities connecting the Updated EYLF V2.0 2022 and the Educational Principles of Reggio Emilia

Across Australia, educators inspired by the educational principles of Reggio Emilia have been eagerly digesting ideas and expectations of the updated Early Years Learning Framework. The connections and synergies between these fundamental approaches can be understood to allow educators the confidence of compliance and the freedom to inquire. In addition, they provide many opportunities for educators to explore the possibilities of innovative pedagogy.

This workshop will provide educators with a participatory opportunity to navigate the updated EYLF in a direct relationship with eh the education principles of Reggio Emilia.

Led by pedagogical experts in both the education principles of Reggio Emilia and the expectation of the EYLF, participants can expect an interactive opportunity to develop a stronger understanding of the interconnectivity between the EYLF V2.0 and the ideas of Reggio Emilia.
