Please join us at Galilee Catholic Primary School to view their inspiring learning spaces and hear from their team about their story of transformation. As a network we are continuing our exploration of the theme of transformation in preparation for next year’s Biennial Conference in Perth: Landscapes of Transformation. Galilee have generously offered to share their story of transformation and each of the subgroups will explore it through their focus.
We continue to welcome new members to the Adelaide Network. If you are new, we hope that after attending a meeting you will join REAIE as a financial member and look forward to attending further meetings, receiving newsletters, the Challenge Journal and other professional learning opportunities.

5:00-5:15pm – Gather in staff room for welcome and nibbles (please bring a plate)
5:15-5:45pm – A story of transformation from the teachers at Galilee
5:45-6:30pm – Break into our subgroups
Documentation has many forms and serves many purposes. We invite you to be courageous and bring a piece of your documentation to share in a small group as a subject of conversation and provocation. It could be raw, polished, or a work in progress. As our focus is on ‘Transformation’ as we head towards next year’s conference in Perth, we will explore how documentation can transform us and our understanding of children and their learning processes.
The reading group will be looking at transformation through the lens of the selected reading. They will explore the idea of pedagogical documentation as an educational tool for professional development.

We will look at the principles of Reggio Emilia and discuss how they could be used to transform our practice.
We look forward to seeing you there!
