Program Description

What is the purpose of documentation? Is it merely an act of ‘recording and communicating learning’ or is it something more?

Join Fiona Zinn and David Gilkes as they unpack the three central functions of documentation:

  • Documentation as Professional Development
  • Documentation as Progettazione
  • Documentation as Communication

This professional learning workshop will explore the ways educators can use their documentation to enhance and articulate understandings, design curriculum and refine practice.

Participants will have an opportunity to reconsider their own understandings of the purpose, process and possibilities of documentation and work collaboratively with others to explore and interpret the idea of documentation from a new point of view.
