This will be our last meeting for the year to celebrate our journey of continual transformation as a group, as professionals and as friends of the world.
Even though we only meet once a term, we have all been so invested and committed to co-constructing learning together, sharing our knowledge so generously, learning and growing from each other, transforming our practice as professionals.
We have created our own ‘space’ our own Atelier, a metaphor of experimentation, of listening to, of promoting and enhancing our own ways to research and learn.
Our last meeting for the year will focus on our journey of transformation. Specifically deepening our relationship with the ‘One Hundred Languages’ and how they have such great potential to transform our ways of seeing, listening and knowing ourselves.
In offering children the One Hundred Languages as a vehicle to explore ‘subject’, we as facilitators need to experience this journey ourselves to fully understand the potential and importance. We need to feel our own emotional connection and response, embrace uncertainty, curiosity, connection, wonder and fulfillment; so we do not limit children by our own limitations.
To explore the subject of transformation we have chosen collage and would love you all to bring recycled paper, card, plain/patterned, textured, any materials that can be used in a collage project so we have enough resources share with everyone.
The meeting will be held at Highfields Preparatory & Kindergarten School, 18 Highfield Rd, Lindfield.
