Program Description

The Ballarat REAIE Network and Discussion Group would like to extend a warm welcome for you and your colleagues to join us for the first meeting. This meeting will take place on Tuesday 10 March, 5:30 – 7:00pm, at the Ballarat Town Hall. The Ballarat REAIE Network and Discussion Group are fortunate to have Debbie Nicholas attend our first meeting to share her experiences of Reggio Emilia, as an educator and as a former REAIE Network Convenor of the Melbourne Network Group.

The dates for the remainder of the year are as follows, with venues still to be confirmed:
Tuesday 12 May 5:30 – 7:00pm
Tuesday 11 August 5:30 – 7:00pm
Tuesday 3 November 5:30 – 7:00pm

Meetings are FREE to ALL members of REAIE. There is a charge of $10 to non members. The Ballarat REAIE Network and Discussion Group looks forward to this being a place and space of encounter for current and emerging leaders and educators to:

• engage in a shared narrative
• increase appreciation and understanding of the Reggio Emilia Approach
• reflect on professional practice and increase professional capacity
• share points of view and consider alternative perspectives, discourses and pedagogies
• engage in sustained shared thinking
• think about, wonder, discuss, research and implement desirable ideas and visions and what needs to occur to make these happen.
