“A gulf is always needed, for men, for children, for women. It is an enclosed place, a more silent place, a place where we can think more, and think better.”
(Loris Malaguzzi, in his speech at the Kohl International Teaching Awards, Chicago, 1993)
This quote resonates during this time of pandemic. The lengthy minutes of the previous virtual meeting are a dialogue of our lives during the first COVID lockdown. As Melbourne enters stage 4 restrictions it would be good to follow up on the previous discussions at the next meeting.
