Educational Encounters and Atelier Experiences
The Educational Encounters are visits to places of education and care where participants can learn about how a setting (e.g. long day care, kindergarten/preschool and early years of school) is inspired by the research and work of Reggio Emilia in their context. The visits usually include; a welcome and tour of the setting, information about how the centre is inspired by the Reggio Approach and time for questions. Travel to the Educational Encounters will depart from the Conference venue (Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre) in the morning and afternoon.
The Conference will also offer a range of inspiring interactive Atelier, or studio style experiences. Delegates will have the opportunity to register for these additional Conference experiences representing both visual and performing arts and which include Ateliers of sound, movement, voice, paper and clay. Morning sessions will run between 10am-12pm and afternoon sessions between 1.30-3.30pm.
