2022 Research Symposium - Frequently Asked Questions

What is required to participate in the 2022 Research Symposium?

  • Desktop computer or laptop is recommended. Tablets/smartphones may also be used.   
  • Reliable internet connection.   
  • Web browser designed for good access to audio visual content such as, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari. Internet Explorer is not recommended, as some functions are not fully supported.

To download a new browser click the following software names:  
Chrome      Firefox       Safari (Apple) 

  • Speakers or, for the best audio experience, headphones.
  • Zoom Client application. The software can be downloaded and installed using the following link forZOOM

An email will be sent to your email address for you to confirm that your email is correct, please follow the instructions on this email on how to confirm your email address.

What to do if you have any technical problems accessing the Symposium?                 

If you are experiencing any technical problems during our event please email: admin@reggioaustralia.org.au or send a private message to the Panel on the chat Zoom function.

How to access the Symposium sessions?

FRIDAY 8 JULY – 7pm – 8pm (AEST)

Live from Reggio Emilia, Italy, the Symposium will commence with an introduction from Tiziana Filippini. This session will be recorded and available for viewing until Tuesday 9 August 2022.

An email will be sent to participants with the links to access ALL sessions on Friday 8 July at 3.00pm (AEST).

SATURDAY 9 JULY – 10am – 3pm (AEST)

This session will commence at 10:00am (AEST) and include an Acknowledgement of Country, introduction to the day, a message from Claudia Giudici, and keynote sessions with Tiziana Filippini.

This session will conclude by 3pm (AEST).

Please note links to access the Saturday sessions will only be active from 9.30am on Saturday 9 July.

AFTERNOON SESSIONS
From 3pm (AEST) participants are able to construct their own program by visiting the different Conference Rooms:

  • Documentation making learning visible
  • Documentation as professional learning
  • Documentation as progettazione.

Reminder: These sessions will be available until Tuesday 9 August 2022.

EVENING SESSION
Live from Reggio Emilia, Italy, you are invited to join a Q&A with Tiziana Filippini. The evening session will commence at 7:00pm (AEST) and conclude at 8:00pm (AEST).
Please submit your questions and reflections by 3.00pm (AEST) into the zoom chat, so that we can collate all questions and comments and send them to Tiziana.

PLEASE NOTE: This session will not be recorded and will not be available for viewing after the event.

What part of the program is live?

Please submit your questions and reflections for Tiziana via the chat room by 3.00pm (AEST) on Saturday 9 July.

When will you receive the links to the sessions?

Links to the sessions will be sent to participants at 12.00pm (AEST) on Friday 8 July. Please note links will only be active from 5.00pm (AEST) Friday 8 July. 

How long is access available to the sessions?

Participants will have access to all recorded sessions until Tuesday 9 August 2022.
