Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day

REAIE acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. The 2024 theme, Strong in Culture, Stronger Together elevates the intention of Children’s Day, focusing on the strength of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, that comes from their deep connection to culture and mob. This day serves as a powerful reminder to advocate for their right to be educated, cared for, protected, and to understand and embrace their culture, stories, kin and community

REAIE respects culture as one of the most sacred, strong and vital assets that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children possess. Empowering children to be strong in culture and identity is important for children now and to thrive in the future.
