Mother Duck Childcare and Kindergarten is an organisation which is proud to be making a significant contribution to advancing early childhood education, in Queensland and beyond, with its pioneering approach to teaching and learning. Based on the principles of the world-renowned Reggio Emilia Educational Project and informed by the inquiry learning approach engaged in many international schools across the globe, our curriculum is led by Dr Deborah Harcourt, who has been our consulting Chief Curriculum Officer for 9 years.
This is a full-time on-site position located minutes from the scenic Manly Harbour in a converted Queenslander home, that provides a beautiful setting for educating and caring for young children. We are currently looking to appoint a second Early Childhood Teacher to join our Kindergarten team, who has experience in leadership and holds a Diploma or Bachelor or is studying towards their degree in the early years.
