NAIDOC Week 2024

REAIE upholds the rights of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to be heard, valued and respected. We are guided by the Reggio Emilia principles of listening and participation as we enter the celebrations held across Australia during NAIDOC Week.  Standing together, we advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and narratives to be understood, believing that by listening through participation, Indigenous voices are amplified. We hold an ongoing commitment in ensuring our oldest living culture is shared and preserved through education and the lived values that promote the landscape for our futures; together we can learn to live in unity. Alongside children we can pursue a pathway forward, educating for a more just society, and ensuring our REAIE purpose statement is lived.  Let’s keep the fire burning, NAIDOC week 2024.
